Reiki Course in Bangalore: Level 1 to Grand Master, Explained
Thinking of learning Reiki in Bangalore? Here is what each level teaches, how long it takes, who can join, and how attunement and certification work.
Reiki is a complementary practice. It supports relaxation and well-being and may help you feel better, but it does not diagnose, treat or cure any illness. Please keep following your doctor’s advice and medicines.
Who can learn Reiki?
Anyone. You do not need any experience, special belief or "gift". Students at our centres include homemakers, IT professionals, doctors, teachers, chartered accountants and college students. If you can sit quietly and follow simple steps, you can learn Reiki.
The Usui Reiki course path
We teach traditional Usui Reiki in clear stages. Each level builds on the one before.
Reiki Level 1, 2 & 3A Certification
The foundation, taught as one programme over about 63 days.
- Level 1: healing on 24 points (hand positions) of the body, to cleanse it and clear blockages. You start practising on yourself from day one.
- Level 2: balancing the 7 chakras with three powerful symbols, Cho Ku Rei, Sei He Ki and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, and distance healing for family members in another city.
- Level 3A: building your Reiki kavach, a protective shield so negativity cannot touch you, using four symbols: the master symbol Dai Ko Myo plus the three from Level 2.
You finish with a daily routine you can follow at home in 20 to 30 minutes.
Reiki Advanced Healer (Level 3B)
About 21 days, after Level 3A. Advanced techniques for specific problems, faster results and protection methods.
Reiki Master (Level 3B)
About 21 days, after Advanced Healer. This is the teacher level: the master symbol, how attunements are given, and how to teach.
Reiki Grand Master (Level 3B)
The highest level in our lineage, for Reiki Masters who want to train and attune other masters.
Two specialisations
- Crystal Reiki (7 days): which stone to use for which problem, cleansing and charging crystals, crystal grids.
- Vedic Numerology: birth, destiny and name numbers, Lo Shu grid and remedies.
What is an attunement?
An attunement is the moment the teacher opens your energy channels to Reiki. It is quiet and simple: you sit with eyes closed while the master works. Many students feel warmth or deep calm. In our lineage, attunements are given by a Reiki Grand Master, in person or at a distance.
Learning in Bengaluru or online
Bengaluru students can learn in person with Reiki Grand Master Dr. Varun Patel, or join online. Online batches suit people with long office hours, and distance attunements work the same way.

Book one healing session first if you have never experienced Reiki. Feeling it yourself makes the course much easier to understand.
